YPSO 88th Season Opening Concert
About
This concert kicks off YPSO's 88th season as an orchestra and their 36th season under the leadership of Maestro David Ramadanoff. The concert program will include Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture, Jeremy Cavaterra’s The Aquarium, and Symphony No. 6 'Pathétique' by Tchaikovsky.

Founded in 1936 in Berkeley, CA, Young People’s Symphony Orchestra (YPSO) is the oldest youth orchestra in California, and the oldest independent youth orchestra in the nation. For nearly 85 years YPSO has developed the musical talents and skills of students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, many YPSO alumni are internationally distinguished musicians and prominent community members.
