Tommy Orange (“Wandering Stars”) and Kaveh Akbar (“Martyr!”) are on the road together, with an evening discussion at Pt. Reyes Books. “Wandering Stars” is the follow-up to Orange’s breakout debut and Pulitzer finalist “There There”, tracing the legacies of the Sand Creek Massacre of 1864. “Martyr!” is acclaimed poet Akbar’s debut novel, about seeking meaning through inheritances of violence and loss.
