Perched on Mount Tamalpais at the historic Mountain Theater, a 4,000-seat natural stone
amphitheater with stunning views, Sound Summit presents an interesting mix of bands--
including Lord Huron, Sierra Ferrell, and Mill Valley’s Vinyl this year—while raising funds to keep
Mt. Tam open to the public. More than $250,000 has been collected over the years to benefit the
beloved mountain and the restoration of some of its hiking trails.
