Birdhouse Gallery is pleased to present “the things we hold, the things we carry”, a solo exhibition of work by San Francisco artist Catherine Lipsetz Dauer November 7-December 6, 2025 that reflects on time’s marks, pace and passage. The exhibition features a group of large-scale paintings inspired by looking deeply at the beauty and mystery of a singular, treasured object from the artist’s personal collection.

Birdhouse Gallery is an art and community space in the Outer Sunset district of San Francisco that hosts solo and group art exhibitions, talks, performances and gatherings. Founded by Ben Frombgen, who is Principal/Owner of bcooperative design studio, Birdhouse Gallery was was named in honor of the storefront’s history as the bird annex for the formerly adjacent pet store.
