Panto in the Presidio is a uniquely San Franciscan twist on the most-popular form of theatre in the world. British holiday pantomimes, more commonly known as pantos, are live performances featuring parodies of popular children’s stories and folklore. Although panto started in England, today millions of people flock to them across the globe.

The Bay Area region is host to so many theatrical holiday events, there truly is something for everyone. One uniquely entertaining tradition comes to us from jolly old England – the Christmas Pantomime! This year, Panto in the Presidio revisits “Sleeping Beauty” in Pantomime’s signature format: a hilarious, zany combination of story, song, dance, comedy, characters and gesture.
