Schwabacher Recital Series
About
The Schwabacher Recital Series offers you the opportunity to hear gifted singers in an up-close and intimate setting. Since 1983, these recitals have featured renowned Merola alumni and have also been instrumental in launching the careers of internationally acclaimed artists.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Schwabacher recitals present emerging and established artists from around the world performing an eclectic mix of classic and new works in the intimate setting of the Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater. Merola alumna and mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey is accompanied by Artistic Director Carrie-Ann Matheson in the final concert of the series, which features works by Debussy, Cole Porter, Manuel de Falla, and the beloved "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
