SF/Arts Curator Insight

The Symphony’s Resident Conductor of Engagement and Education Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser leads the orchestra in its annual appearance at Stern Grove, performing a lively program that ranges from Stravinsky’s Scherzo à la russe to Jessie Montgomery’s Coincident Dances to Brahms’ Tragic Overture, with Benjamin Beilman playing Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
