In lieu of its annual Davies Hall holiday celebration, the famed Girls Chorus serves up a virtual performance, mixing previously recorded material and live segments, with a focus on Caribbean and other island music. The concert includes a performance of the new commissioned work by Puerto Rican composer Angélica Negrón, Cosecha, seasonal chestnuts and a preview of another new Girls Chorus commission, Matthew Welch’s Tomorrow’s Memories.
