Ninth Planet and InTandem present the Herbst Theatre premiere of Prospero's Island, a chamber opera by composer Allen Shearer and librettist Claudia Stevens, based on Shakespeare's The Tempest. Featuring a fabulous cast of singers, including Andrew Dwan as Prospero and Shawnette Sulker as Ariel, the production will be directed by Phil Lowery and conducted by Nathaniel Berman. They will be joined by members of the San Francisco Girls Chorus.
