David Osit’s troubling doc surveys the ethical quandaries posed by the hit TV show, "To Catch a Predator,” whose snagging of sexual predators may have been laudable, but its methods questionable. The popular program ended over 17 years ago, inviting a retrospective view of the entrapment of perpetrators and the queasy relationship between “ambush” gotcha journalism and law enforcement through clips and interviews with “decoys” and the self-righteous host Chris Hansen.
