SF/Arts Curator Insight
Catch your breath, “Downtown Abbey “ fans, Hugh Bonneville is coming to town to participate in an on-stage tribute to the disarming actor, whose resume suggests he's more versatile than some might suspect. “From Time to Time” will be shown, in which Bonneville stars along with the late Maggie Smith. The 2009 film about a family’s attempt to save a grand mansion. The ever-popular Jane Austen is the jumping-off point for the closing night film, “Jane Austen Wrecked my Life” — gotta love that title — a playful French reverie about a Parisian book clerk fixated on the author.
