Musician David James and his Ensemble GPS will premiere "Mission Rebel No. 1: Looking for Rev. Jesse James" at Brava Theater on Friday, September 22 at 8pm.
“Mission Rebel No. 1” is a musical exploration into the life and times of the Rev. Jesse James, founder of Mission Rebels in Action, a group that demanded job training and better schools as alternatives to incarceration for Black & Latine youth in the 1960's.
