John Shoptaw teaches poetry and ecopoetry in the English Department of UC Berkeley, where he is a member of the Environmental Arts & Humanities Initiative. His Times Beach won the Northern California Book Award in Poetry. His Near-Earth Object is now out from Unbound Edition Press.
