Brilliant local playwright Lauren Gunderson turns Louisa May Alcott’s endearing “Little Women” into a stage play at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley; it’s part of a four-way national world premiere. They’re all here, in 19th-century New England: Meg, Jo (everybody’s favorite, clearly including Alcott’s), Beth, Amy and saintly Marmee. Trust Gunderson and director Giovanna Sardelli to make the classic as fresh as the first time you read it.
