KSW50 Renewal Gala
About
2022 marks 50 years of making community out of artists, artists out of community, and creating programs that reflect our life experiences, histories, and dreams. To imagine who we are and know where we come from is critical to building the healthier, stronger, inclusive world we all wish to live in.
Our 50th Anniversary “KSW50 Renewal Gala” is set for June 11th, 2022 from 5PM-9PM at The San Francisco Mint. This indoor-outdoor evening will be a celebration focused on rejuvenation and healing, while harkening back to KSW’s rich history.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Kearny Street Workshop, the longest standing multidisciplinary Asian Pacific American arts organization, celebrates 50 years with an indoor-outdoor evening at The San Francisco Mint. K-Ming Chang, a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Honoree for her novel “Bestiary” and author of the forthcoming story collection “Gods of Want”, will read from her work, along with jazz from Francis Wong and his band, a scavenger hunt, art auction and DJ.
