Instrumentals
Curated by Rebekah Goldstein and Lisa Rybovich Crallé

This show of vibrant non representational paintings and textiles sways like a breezy summer song. Abstract shapes move and shift, colors spill from canvas to cloth. Inspired by instrumental versions of hummable tunes, each artist holds down a different part of this audio/visual combo. Perhaps Geary and Goldstein's bright patterns keep the beat. Ghuloum's deep layers are definitely on bass. Maybe Tumerman's swift strokes play keys. I can see/hear the others filling out string and horn sections. Nice tune!
