Fintan O'Toole, author of "We Don't Know Ourselves." Hinterland West brings the 10th annual Hinterland festival from Kells, Co. Meath, Ireland, to the Bay Area with the same purpose: to illuminate contemporary words and ideas from Ireland's vibrant literary community. Speakers will address a broad range of topics, from the best in Irish crime writing to James Joyce’s "Ulysses," from gorgeous Percy French ballads to the talk of the town in Dublin, Hinterland West offers something from Ireland for everyone.
