Glow returns to Pier 15 this winter, inviting visitors to explore art and science through eight mesmerizing light-based installations. Light, art and science converge once more with the return of this popular seasonal exhibition. Familiar favorites occupy the museum alongside new works, from larger-than-life installations to optical illusions to immersive experiences — all sure to brighten a dark winter’s day. Case in point: Squidsoup’s “Wave,” composed of roughly 500 orbs suspended in the form of a breaking wave — each containing a speaker, microcomputer and LED lights, yielding an audiovisual delight.
