Friction Quartet is excited to open their 21-22 concert season with the long awaited premiere of five commissions written young composers Sofia Belimova, Carolina Bragg, Theodore Haber, Kari Watson, and Benjamin Champion. These works are truly special and demonstrate an incredible level of artistry from this next generation of composers. The quartet will also give a sixth bonus premiere of the new quartet "it was never okay" by Isaac Schankler.
