About
Crucial Reggae Sundays brings free, family-friendly reggae music to the historic Bandshell at Music Concourse in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, every Sunday from 4:20 to 7:30 pm, through mid-November.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Listening to free music in Golden Gate Park is a joy second to none, and when the music’s this good, you’ve got no excuse to stay inside. Brooklyn’s Dub Stuy Records (Q-Mastah, Edica+, and Jonny Go Figure) will throw down some deep-cut reggae and dub in a rare West Coast appearance at Crucial Reggae Sundays at the bandshell, a highlight in a jam-packed summer series that continues on Sundays through October. Thank you, Claus Spreckels, for making this all possible.
