Over 220 artists and artisans display powerful and resonant works of art that unite craft and concept around the book as a work of art. Exhibitors include the artists, letterpress printers, printmakers, bookbinders, papermakers, calligraphers, and publishers of these limited-edition works of art. Book arts organizations, academic institutions, and suppliers will be on hand for this four-day event, which includes a symposium for a deeper dive.
The CODEX Foundation exists to preserve and promote the contemporary handmade book as a work of art in the broadest possible context and to bring to public recognition the artists, the fine craft, and the rich history of the civilization of the book.
