The CODEX International Book Fair includes hundreds of individual artists and dealers. The fair draws an international crowd of artists, printers, bookmakers, designers, poets, writers, collectors, dealers, curators, and academics. The work that is shown is all within the realm of artist's books, book arts, and fine press books.
The CODEX Foundation exists to preserve and promote the contemporary handmade book as a work of art in the broadest possible context and to bring to public recognition the artists, the fine craft, and the rich history of the civilization of the book.
