SF/Arts Curator Insight

Even with prestigious editorial positions at the San Francisco Examiner and HuffPost’s San Francisco bureau, journalist Carly Schwartz still suffered from crippling depression, but thankfully found help in the most unexpected of places. “I'll Try Anything Twice: Misadventures of a Self-Medicated Life” is the result of her journey. Juliet Izon is a journalist and author with a ton of high-profile magazine credits, whose debut novel, “The Encore” plunges us into a life of academic musicians, friendship, love, road-trips and much more.

Book Passage

Book Passage claimed the title of the “Bay Area’s Liveliest Bookstore” years ago as it was hosting more than 800 author events, classes, conferences, children’s events, writers’ organizations, book groups, and other activities each year. The pandemic forced us to slow down some of these activities a bit, but we’ve also now added a whole array of online events & classes.
