Now more than ever, art is essential for connection and reflection, social change, and building community, especially for youth. A difficult year has proven that Art is Essential and the 10th annual SF Youth Arts Summit vibrantly illustrates that theme, in a week celebrating young artists and their considerable influence on the City’s creative culture with online art exhibits, workshops, panel discussions and performances, hosted by the Excelsior’s venerable Youth Art Exchange, which provides free arts programs to public high school students.
