A ton of great new indie horror, science fiction, fantasy and genre films from around the world and around The Bay! San Francisco’s ‘Another Hole in the Head’ Film Festival is a cinematic excursion into the realms of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and assorted other genres. Taking its cue from other legendary festivals such as Cannes and Sundance, Another Hole in the Head pulls together a diverse collection of films representing all varieties and budgetary considerations. Another Hole in the Head provides a unique vehicle for independent cinema.

This year, just for starters, there’s “She is Conann,” in which Cerberus, called Rainer here, sports breasts, a woman’s voice, a muzzle and a studded leather jacket, the perfect get-up for the guardian of the underworld. Also, look out for a voodoo deity who, in a swift trick, transforms a burlesque dancer into a vampire in “Bloody Bridget.” (Steer clear if you don’t fancy blood.) Plus, a live stage rendering of Wes Craven’s 1984 slasher orgy, “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
