51st Annual Castro Street Fair
About
We get better with age! Mark your calendars for the 51st Annual Castro Street Fair, Sunday, October 5, 2025.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Founded by Harvey Milk in 1974, the Castro Street Fair is one of San Francisco’s longest-running street fairs celebrating the city’s unique cultural and sexual diversity. Since the fair’s establishment, the first weekend of October has meant it’s time to join the joyful street party with live music stages and dance parties, not to mention hundreds of artists, craftspeople, service organizations, and vendors representing this distinctive and dynamic neighborhood. Donations are highly encouraged—funds earned by the street fair support local essential services and maintaining the pride flag over Harvey Milk Plaza.
