10th Anniversary Flower Piano
About
We are very excited Flower Piano is set to return for it’s 10th anniversary in the Botanical Garden for 10 days, spanning two weekends—September 12-21, with a Special Opening Night Event on September 12.
In the final days of summer and for the tenth time since 2015, Flower Piano will once again transform San Francisco Botanical Garden into the city’s own alfresco concert hall where everyone is invited to play and listen.
During Flower Piano 2025, the Celebration Garden in the Botanical Garden will be transformed into the Flower Piano Lounge, an upgraded musical landscape featuring priority entry to the festival, special performances from local headliners, access to premium bars, food from local makers, lounge seating, dedicated restrooms, and flexibility to relax and enjoy all areas of the festival at will. Lounge performances include Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers, Dred Scott & Cali Mambo, Sixth Station Trio, Sumi Lee & Ramiro Boero, and more.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Flower Piano returns for its tenth year in September, offering visitors ten days of concerts in San Francisco Botanical Garden. More than one hundred performances include solos, duets, and ensembles with artists such as Sarah Cahill, Diana Gameros, and Tammy Hall. Highlights include the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra world premiere performance of a brand-new piece by Benjamin Gribble entitled “Oleander, ” and soloist Allison Lovejoy performing Gershwin’s timeless “Rhapsody in Blue.” In addition to the piano concerts, the second annual Flower Piano Fashion Show invites attendees to take to the catwalk in their own Flower Piano-themed outfits.
