SF/Arts Curator Insight

Author of the widely praised novel “The Year She Left Us”, a NYT Editors’ Choice and NPR “Great Read”, Kathryn Ma’s short story collection “All That Work and Still No Boys” won the Iowa Short Fiction Award. She presents her anticipated new novel “The Chinese Groove”, which follows optimistic 18-yo Shelley as he leaves the Yunnan Province to pursue his dreams in San Francisco. When he arrives, things are far from what he was promised.
