SF/Arts Curator Insight
Bringing island spirit to Stanford this summer, three artists credited for advancing Hawaiian music warm up a summer South Bay evening at Frost Amphitheater. Imua means “to move forward.” Jake Shimabukuro, who’s elevated the ukulele to the international stage, joins celebrated singer/songwriter John Cruz (recently featured on HBO´s White Lotus) and songstress Anuhea, whose music delights fans with its laid-back island vibe and hints of reggae.
