Tom Barbash & Keith Scribner

City Lights Bookstore

Keith Scribner reads from Old Newgate Road published by Alfred Knopf. Tom Barbash reads from The Dakota Winters published by Ecco Press.

This is what SF/Arts curator Evan Karp had to say about Tom Barbash & Keith Scribner :

City Lights hosts a reading by novelists Tom Barbash (“Stay Up With Me”) and Keith Scribner (“The Oregon Experiment”). Barbash’s new book is “The Dakota Winters,” about a family living in the famed NYC Dakota apartment building in the year leading up to John Lennon’s assassination; Scribner’s is “Old Newgate Road,” about a father’s return to his childhood home, the site of a personal tragedy.
