Central Works

Presenting a Kafka-esque comedy written by Gary Graves and directed by Jan Zvaifler. Lewis Carroll meets Franz Kafka in Wonderland.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jean Schiffman has to say about Wonderland :

This “Wonderland,” as CentralWorks playwright Gary Graves imagines it, has some hints of the Lewis Carroll classic—a mad hatter, a rabbit, an Alice, a Red Queen—as well as some tantalizing Kafka-esque elements: a simple clerk who’s been summoned, inexplicably, to what is apparently the White House, where he must wait in an empty room in which odd things happen. Company founder Jan Zvaifler directs a four-member ensemble in this world premiere.
