Left Coast Writers® Salon: Javier Zamora - Unaccompanied. Javier Zamora was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States at the age of nine. He earned a BA at UC-Berkeley, an MFA at New York University, and is a 2016-2018 Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.

Bay Area poet Javier Zamora launches his highly anticipated debut collection, “Unaccompanied” (Copper Canyon), with a reading at Book Passage Corte Madera. Having emigrated from El Salvador when he was nine, Zamora grew up in San Rafael and graduated from Cal, then NYU’s MFA program. He is a 2016-2018 Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
