Algorithmic Art Assembly

Gray Area

Algorithmic Art Assembly returns to Gray Area for a second year of creative subversions. A two day conference and music festival, the event showcases a diverse range of artists using algorithmic tools and processes in their work. From live coding visuals and music at algoraves, to virtual reality, machine learning, and generative music composition, this event celebrates artists using algorithms for aesthetics.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock has to say about Algorithmic Art Assembly :

Gray Area presents a two day series of talk and two nights of live music all focused on algorithmic tools and processes in creative production – by day, artists will conduct intimate workshops; by night, livestreamed code will be projected over the dancefloor. Gray Area’s website offers past highlights to whet your appetite.
