Rosana Castrillo Díaz

Anthony Meier Fine Arts

Rosana Castrillo Díaz's material studies revel in the subdued elegance of light and gesture. Linen, paper, and tape are layered and finely manipulated by hand, demonstrating the resilience of these unfussy materials.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock has to say about Rosana Castrillo Díaz :

O, this is a treat – recent works by Rosana Castrillo Díaz situated in the gorgeous sparseness of Anthony Meier Fine Arts extraordinary exhibition space, the ground floor of 1911 mansion designed by San Francisco architect Willis Jefferson Polk. Castrillo Díaz’s ever-engaging work is dependent on that which we barely see – the finest graphite details, translucent tape, iridescent medium.
