This U.S. premiere by Sedef Ecer focuses on migrants in the urban slums of Istanbul. Directed by Erin Gilley, it’s set in both Istanbul and Paris and comprises a series of stories about the various characters’ journeys. The six actors play such roles as young lovers, a gypsy, farmers. Turkish-born Ecer writes in both Turkish and French; Evren Odcikin translated this play from the Turkish. It’s described as both lyrical and funny.
