Fruition: Water Holds All Memory

"Fruition: Water Holds All Memory" features four Black women artists working across and cross-platform in visual, new media & performance art to amplify new archival models and creation using elements from the natural world. The exhibit includes painting and assemblage by Asya Abdrahman; film. sculpture and installation from Simone Bailey; paint, fiber art and performance by Ayanna Bassiouni, and works on paper from Sydney Cain aka Sage Stargate.

Experimental multi-media work abounds in this group exhibition featuring new works by Asya Abdrahman, Simone Bailey, Aynna Bassiouni, and Sydney Cain. Presenting works on paper, film, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and performance, as well as a series of public programs, including panel discussions and special performances.
