This is what SF/Arts curator Jesse Hamlin had to say about The Most Famous Symphony Ever Written :

Music Director Ben Simon and the orchestra offer a tour of what they call classical music’s greatest hit, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, taking the audience through the 1808 masterpiece with commentary and musical samples before playing it straight through.
