Unholy Trinity: A Lovecraft Triptych

Exit Theatre

Inspired by the supernatural fiction of HP Lovecraft, an early 20th century writer known for creating his own mythos, Unholy Trinity is San Francisco writer/director Stuart Bousel's adaptation and staging of "The Dunwich Horror," "Nyarlathotep," and "The Dreams in the Witch House." Celebrate the Halloween season with these unholy works of classic horror. Adapted and staged from works by HP Lovecraft and Anne Helen Crofts by Stuart Eugene Bousel.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jean Schiffman has to say about Unholy Trinity: A Lovecraft Triptych :

Just in time for Halloween, the endlessly inventive Stuart Bousel has adapted several stories by Anne Helen Crofts and early-20th-century American writer H.P. Lovecraft, known for horrifying and weird fiction. Bousel stages three creepy tales at Exit--“The Dunwich Horror,” “Nyarlathotep” and “The Dreams in the Witch House--with a cast of eight. He considers this unholy trinity to be set in a “dark yet startlingly familiar world.”
