Get Out - Film with the SF Symphony

San Francisco Symphony

When a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend's family estate, he becomes ensnared in a more sinister, real reason for the invitation. As the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

This is what SF/Arts curator Sura Wood has to say about Get Out - Film with the SF Symphony :

Writer/director Jordan Peele’s breakout genre hit, which played on the racial paranoia of white America, was scary enough when it was released in theaters in 2017; one can only imagine what a terrifying experience it will be to see his fantastical horror thriller with live musical accompaniment performed by a symphony orchestra. Peele’s sinister plot unfolds during a young black man’s visit to an estate belonging to his white girlfriend’s family.
