This hilarious, high-speed spoof of Alfred Hitchcock's silver-screen classic hurtles a notorious fugitive and breathtaking
blonde from a London music hall to Scotland's most remote highlands crawling with devious spies. With a mysteriously murdered agent, a wicked plot to destroy England, and a race against the clock to stop it, this brilliantly funny show is a tribute to the master's greatest films.
Multiple creators are responsible for this show: Scottish author John Buchan wrote the original 1915 adventure novel and Alfred Hitchcock made it into a spy thriller in 1935, which Patrick Barlow spoofed in this 2005 Broadway comedy. Now, Leslie Martinson directs Barlow’s adaptation, set in Scotland and England, for TheatreWorks. Annie Abrams, Lance Gardner, Cassidy Brown and Ron Campbell play all 139 roles.
