Stanford Live

The 2014 Oscar-winning movie tells the story of the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. Protesting segregationist repression and led by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and now-U.S. Representative John Lewis (D-GA.), it helped lead to passage of the Voting Rights Act later that year. Jazz pianist, Jason Moran, provides the film with a live score.
