Windrider Film Forum

Windrider Bay Area

Windrider's eclectic 2019 film journey will take the audience from San Quentin Prison to a tattoo parlor in the Appalachians, and will follow a Cuban youth finding his independence from communism and a deaf youth finding his freedom in performing Beethoven. Check the website for schedule.

This is what SF/Arts curator Betsy Crabtree has to say about Windrider Film Forum :

This South Bay festival of independent film screens feature length and short works that explore the human condition; many were scouted at Sundance and other top films fests around the country. As at Sundance, filmmakers and subjects participate in Q & A sessions following screenings. Subjects this year include a basketball team at San Quentin, a tattoo parlor in Appalachia and a deaf youth who performs Beethoven. $10-$15.
