A Treasury of Animation

Cartoon Art Museum

The Cartoon Art Museum's exhibition showcases original production art following the evolution of animation from the 1920s onward.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock has to say about A Treasury of Animation :

This is the first major exhibition organized by the Cartoon Art Museum since its reopening in Fisherman’s Wharf and it promises quite simply “the best of the best” of its coveted archive, including work that dates from the very beginning of animation in the 1920s through the present day. Special highlights include original art, cels and production materials from many popular culture faves.
