Karina Canellakis, chief conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, make her Symphony debut leading the SF orchestra in Prokofiev’s whimsical and percussive Piano Concerto No. 1, featuring Ukrainian pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk in his Symphony debut, and Shostakovich’s explosive Symphony No. 7, Leningrad.
