Sarah Cahill and Regina Myers

Old First Concerts

Sarah Cahill and Regina Myers perform a concert of music mainly on the theme of social justice, as motivation and inspiration, including works by Elinor Armer, Ruby Fulton, Frederic Rzewski, Pauline Oliveros, and others, as well as a premiere by Sharmi Basu.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jesse Hamlin has to say about Sarah Cahill and Regina Myers :

The intrepid Sarah Cahill and fellow pianist Regina Myers had social justice on their minds when they shaped this program, which includes Frederic Rzewski’s “Winnsboro Cotton Mill Blues,” Pauline Oliveros “A New Indigo Peace,” Meredith Monk’s “Ellis Island” and a new work by Sharmi Basu.
