Allan deSouza

Curatorial Research Bureau

Artist and writer Allan deSouza speaks with James Voorhies, CCA Chair of the Graduate Program in Curatorial Practice, about his recent publication "How Art Can Be Thought: A Handbook for Change," which examines the popular terminology through which art is discussed, valued, and taught.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jesse Hamlin had to say about Allan deSouza :

The bracing Brazilian guitar duo of Rogério Souza and Edinho Gerber, joined by percussionist Ami Molinelli, trace the roots of choro, the intricate, dancing Brazilian music that draws on European waltzes, tango habanera, Afro-Brazilian and other idioms. Presented by Old First Church Concerts.
