Bernard-Henri Levy

Jewish Community Center of San Francisco

Philosopher, activist and filmmaker Bernard-Henri Le?vy (BHL) has long been considered one of the great moral voices of our time. Join BHL for a special evening featuring dramatic readings and conversation about his latest book, The Empire and the Five Kings: America's Abdication and the Fate of the World, his cri de coeur for moral courage and clear thinking in these dark times.

This is what SF/Arts curator Laura Fraenza had to say about Bernard-Henri Levy :

French intellectual, philosopher, writer and provocateur Bernard-Henri Lévy (or BHL, as he is known in his home country) appears at SFJCC’s Kanbar Hall to read and discuss his newly released tome that warns of the perils of America abdicating its leadership role to ambitious former empires (Russia and China are just two). This Arts & Ideas event is sure to sell out; if you can’t get a ticket, it will be available online afterward.
