Wander Woman will feature works by 16 Bay Area, first-generation immigrant women of color, who vary in professional backgrounds from emerging to established and have immigrated to the US from different parts of the world. Wander Woman is an expansive group exhibition of first-generation immigrant women of color whose work explores diaspora, femininity, liminality and power dynamics through a wide range of media, including painting, installation, performance, sculpture and video, culminating in an evening of live performances on Feb. 9; visit site for ticketing.
