2019 Tiny Dance Film Festival

Detour Dance

Tiny Dance Film Festival is a film festival based in San Francisco that features short dance films (10 minutes or under) from across the globe. TDFF prioritizes films that stretch into new territory, challenge dominant narratives, and most importantly -- embrace brevity.

This is what SF/Arts curator Sura Wood had to say about 2019 Tiny Dance Film Festival :

The Tiny Dance Film Festival, whose name alludes to the brief running time of the multiple shorts it presents—they’re 10 minutes and under—rather than the size of the artistic aspirations of the talented dancers, choreographers and directors who created them, emphasizes brevity and experimentation. Founded in 2013, TDFF traverses the mundane, the inconspicuous, the idiosyncratic and the conceptual in films that show big ideas can come in small packages.
