Seattle-based author Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore returns to San Francisco to read from her third novel, “Sketchtasy,” a portrait of ’90s gay culture set in Boston. Her 2013 memoir, “The End of San Francisco,” won a Lambda Literary Award for Transgender nonfiction, and she’s editor of five nonfiction anthologies, including “Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots?,” which was an ALA Stonewall Honor Book.
